She was responsible for services delivering more than 15,000 hours of care per week and has built a reputation for operational excellence. Jo has played a pivotal role in multiple acquisitions, from conducting due diligence and CQC/CIW audits to leading post-acquisition onboarding and integration. She specialises in mentoring senior teams, embedding digital systems, and implementing best-practice frameworks that ensure services achieve and sustain the highest regulatory standards.

Tim is an expert finance executive with extensive experience in driving business performance and acting as a catalyst for change across finance, insurance, treasury, HR, and environmental safety. With a strategic, results-oriented approach, Tim specialises in leading reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective changes, supporting the Tenera Care Group in driving financial strategy across the organisation.

Paul brings over 30 years of experience in operations, financial management, people leadership, and service delivery. A dynamic leader with proven adaptability in guiding large teams across social care, he played a key role in merging several major care brands totalling over 200 branches. During his career, he served as Operations Director across Southern England, Scotland, and Wales, with responsibility for more than 35 branches and 7,000 team members. In this role, he transformed service quality and compliance, establishing it as the best provider in the sector. Paul specialises in domiciliary and live-in care, combining operational expertise with innovative strategies to deliver sustainable growth.

Our Chair, Mike is an accomplished senior business leader with a 30-year track record across diverse sectors. He has extensive expertise in building companies, which he now uses to support the Tenera Care Group in its strategic direction and leadership. His expertise spans crucial areas such as M&A, business integrations, brand expansion, and business transformation. With a proven ability to drive growth and transformation, Mike is positioned as a valuable and influential leader within the Tenera Care Group.

Guy was the National Head of Corporate Law at a top 20 UK law firm and brings over 30 years of experience to the Tenera Care Group. As a trusted advisor in corporate transactions, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, Guy provides invaluable legal and commercial support. Leveraging his extensive expertise to navigate complex deals. Over his career, Guy has successfully managed more than 500 transactions ranging from £500K to £150M.

Hisham is an experienced, innovative and results oriented assurance leader with a career spanning over 35 years. With an impressive 22-year tenure as an Assurance Partner at EY, he has consistently demonstrated his expertise in driving compliance and financial reporting. He also supports the Tenera Care Group with his deep knowledge in acquisitions, development, and commercial management, reinforcing the group’s financial and strategic strengths.

Nick had an impressive 43-year career at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he developed a wealth of expertise in finance and gained extensive experience in health and social care. He served as a member of the credit committee and worked closely with deal teams to achieve strategic objectives. Nick now supports the Tenera Care Group in all aspects of finance and investments, bringing unparalleled expertise and invaluable insights to the organisation.
